Sore: Istri dari Masa Depan

“Sore: Istri dari Masa Depan” (“Sore: A Wife from the Future”) is a romantic fantasy drama directed by Yandy Laurens, adapted from his hit 2017 web series. The story follows Jonathan (Dion Wiyoko), an Indonesian photographer living in Croatia whose life is defined by heavy smoking and an unhealthy routine. His world is turned upside down when a woman named Sore (Sheila Dara Aisha) suddenly appears, claiming to be his wife from the future who has traveled back in time to save him from his own destructive habits.

The film became a major critical and commercial success, reaching over 3 million viewers and becoming one of the highest-grossing films of 2025. At the Festival Film Indonesia (FFI) 2025, it secured several major honors, including Sheila Dara Aisha’s win for Best Actress and the Best Director award for Yandy Laurens. Additionally, the film was selected as Indonesia’s official submission for the 98th Academy Awards. Its striking visual identity was also recognized as the poster won Best Poster at the Indonesian Screen Awards at Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival 2025.
